Terms of Service
These are the terms that apply when you order from Kaleido Knits, written the way we'd want a shop to explain things to us.

Who we are
Kaleido Knits is a small hand-knitting business based in Coimbatore, India. Every piece is made by hand, to order.
How ordering works
Placing an order asks us to knit that piece for you in the size and colour you've chosen. Everything is made to order, so nothing ships from a shelf.
Please check your size and colour before you check out. Once we've cast on, we can't change either.
Made to order and timing
Each order is made to order and ships in 2 to 3 weeks. Handmade pieces can occasionally run a little over that, especially in busy seasons, and we will let you know if that happens.
- Most orders ship in 2 to 3 weeks
- We'll write to you if a piece is going to take longer
- Rush requests aren't guaranteed, but you're welcome to ask
Payment
Payment is taken in full when you place your order. We start knitting once payment has gone through.
Shipping
We ship from Coimbatore once your piece is finished. Delivery time depends on where it is going, on top of the 2 to 3 week making time.
Handmade variation
Every piece is made by hand, so small variations in stitch, size or shade are normal. They're part of what makes a piece handmade rather than machine-made, not a fault.
Returns and exchanges
You can return an eligible order within 15 days of delivery. Full details, including what qualifies and how refunds work, are on our Returns page.
- Returns accepted within 15 days of delivery
- The piece should be unworn and in its original condition
- Made-to-measure pieces knit to your own measurements may not be eligible
Limits on our responsibility
We take care to describe and photograph every piece honestly and to knit it well. Beyond putting a genuine fault right, we ask that you understand delays or issues caused by couriers or other events outside our control are not something we can be held responsible for.
Governing law
These terms are meant to be read under the laws of India, where Kaleido Knits is based.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the shop grows. The date at the top shows when they were last changed.
